Villa Horizon has been home to an assortment of Wilton family and friends ranging in ages from 3 - 65, for the last two weeks. Some of us (though clearly not the 3 year old) have been to Barbados many times and this must be one of the best, if not the best place, any of us have stayed in.
The villa has been kept in immaculate condition by the excellent Odessa who we'd like to take home with us, but she wouldn't appreciate the -3 degree temperature which awaits us there. The surrounding gardens and their wildlife and birdlife, such as tiny hummingbirds have been a delight, as has been the villa's many other facilities.
If one turns right, and right again, past the front of the villa, walk between the two houses being built, turn left, then by weaving your way right, right, left, left, it will bring you out on the main road near the Lonestar restaurant, after only a 10 minute walk. Located on the far side of Lonestar is Santi's Beach Bar which we recommend. Sorry if the instructions for the route are so vague but it is a lot quicker than going via the main road.
Finally, give a big pat on the back to whoever thought of putting a printer in the villa, which enabled us to print out our boarding cards - brilliant! One day, we'd love to come back.
